PRIVACY STATEMENT
Privacy for meeting participants
Many clients request screenshots and/or recordings of the meetings we facilitate. Participants are informed of this at the start of the meeting, including mentioning the purpose of those recordings. The recordings we make for clients are kept for a maximum of 1 year. After that, we delete them from the server.
Each meeting is subject to the standard confidentiality agreement signed by Meeting Masters. If desired, it is possible to draft a separate non-disclosure agreement between MeetingMasters Online and the organizing party.
Privacy for website visitors
When you visit our website, we process some personal data. We handle this information carefully, as privacy is important. In this Privacy Statement, you can read more about it.
We use your IP address to determine how people access our website, how long website visits last, and which pages of our website are visited the most. For this, we use Google Analytics. Read Google Analytics' privacy policy here.
Our website is hosted by Xel. They use log files to detect issues. These files contain IP addresses and are cleaned up once a year. This helps them (and us) keep our website and server secure and accessible.
We collect personal data with cookies to optimize and improve the website. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages of this website and is stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. Upon a subsequent visit to our website, this information can be sent back to our servers. You can read about how cookies work and which ones we use in our cookie policy.
We only use your data to respond to your inquiries and do not share your information with third parties. We store your name, organization, email address, and optionally your phone number. If you do not want this, let us know, and we will delete your data immediately. Of course, you can choose not to leave any information or to email us directly. If you want to see what personal data we have about you or if you want to make changes, please email us. We will arrange that within three working days.
An SSL certificate is installed on our website. With SSL, confidential data is encrypted during transmission, preventing interception. For sending newsletters, we use the MailChimp program. You can also connect with us via LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. All these parties are part of the Privacy Shield Program and thus meet a level of protection deemed adequate by the European Commission. For more information, see https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active.
Finally, we do not retain your data longer than necessary. There are legal retention periods which we, of course, respect. Most data is deleted 1 year after the last contact. Data that we are required to keep longer by law will be retained until the retention obligation expires.
